Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Shep, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This agreement is between you and Nebo Development Partners LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), not Apple Inc. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Shep is an AI-powered Bible study application that generates devotionals from user-selected sermon sources. The service is subscription-based and designed to help you engage with Scripture through the lens of pastors and churches you trust.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person may maintain only one account.

Subscriptions & Billing

Shep is available for $49.99 per year with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.

  • Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your Apple device.
  • All payments are processed by Apple. Nebo Development Partners LLC does not store your payment information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the service or use it for any unlawful purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the service
  • Submit harmful, abusive, or objectionable content through the app
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

Shep and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Nebo Development Partners LLC. Sermon content belongs to the respective churches and creators. You retain ownership of any content you generate through the app.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content in Shep is intended for personal spiritual growth and reflection. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or direct Scripture study. While we strive for accuracy, the accuracy of AI-generated content is not guaranteed.

User Content

By using Shep, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs (such as chat messages) solely for the purpose of delivering the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Third-Party Content

Sermon content is sourced from feeds you select. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nebo Development Partners LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Apple-Specific Terms

These terms are between you and Nebo Development Partners LLC only, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms of Service and may enforce them against you.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Shep after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
